Phewa Lake and mountain viewpoints
Begin with a boat ride across Phewa Lake to the two-story pagoda of Tal Barahi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga as the protector of the lake. Paddle to the opposite shore and hike through rhododendron forest to the World Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa) for 360-degree views of the Annapurna range, Pokhara Valley, and the lake below. The silence at this height is profound.

Sarangkot sunrise (optional), caves & falls
Early risers can add a pre-dawn drive to Sarangkot viewpoint for one of Nepal's most spectacular sunrises, as first light strikes Annapurna II, III, IV, Machapuchare, and Dhaulagiri, then return for breakfast at your lakeside hotel. Visit Davis Falls (Devi's Fall), where the Pardi River plunges into an underground tunnel, and cross the road to explore Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave with its naturally formed Shiva lingam. Visit the International Mountain Museum to learn about Himalayan climbing history and the Bindhyabasini Temple, one of Pokhara's oldest Hindu shrines. End with sunset at Pumdikot, home to Nepal's tallest Shiva statue.
